Tirupur: DMK Chief MK Stalin campaigned in the CTT corner in Tirupur ahead of the state assembly elections.
He took part in the election campaigns at Tirupur North, Tirupur South, Avinashi and Palladam constituencies supporting the candidates contesting on behalf of the Madhasarbatra Murpoku Kootani.

MK Stalin campaigned for DMK Candidate Selvaraj who is contesting in the Tirupur South constituency, CPI candidate Ravi in the Tirupur North constituency, Adhiyaman from Adi Tamilar Peravai in Avinashi and MDMK candidate Muthurathinam who is contesting in Palladam constituency.
During his address MK Stalin stated that "Tamilnadu has been ruined in the last 10 years. AIADMK has added more state debt to the list of woes.
Around ₹62,000 loan amount is upon everyone in Tamilnadu and AIADMK government is using the people's tax money in making advertisements.
During the DMK rule the industrial growth was at 10.9% but it has gone down to 4.6% now with no investment nor job opportunities.
AIADMK ministers have launched the inauguration ceremonies for bulidings which were never completed. But once DMK comes to power a high authority team will be set-up to manage the economy of the state."

DMK Chief MK Stalin then said "Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has asked about what DMK has done when an alliance was there in the center. Tamil was given classical language status, no cost service in cellphones was created, establishment of Hogenakkal drip irrigation project, waiver of farmers loans, Metro train project and 4 way highways were built across Tamilnadu. We can say more but can Edapadi Palanisamy say anything about the projects done during their alliance."
He then questioned the Chief Minister to answer about the Madurai AIMS situation if he actually has any conscience. After that Stalin promised to finish the medical college projects which are left without any development.
DMK Chief MK Stalin then said that Edappadi Palanisamy has no strength to get the relief funds for the Gaja cyclone. He then said that Kalaignar did not permit NEET in Tamilnadu, even Jayalalithaa didn't support it but even after the death of students, no decisions had been taken so far. He then said that the Chief Minister has no right to ask what we did when all they did was nothing.
Later, DMK Chief MK Stalin said that fuel prices have gone up bad like poison and a situation has come where people don't have savings. Even during the coronavirus pandemic he was not wearing masks and when I questioned Edappadi Palanisamy about this issue, the Chief Minister said that nothing will happen in Amma's rule but came the very next day wearing masks."
"BJP's tactics of religious hate will not work in Tamilnadu, Modi's tricks will not work in Dravidian soil. This election is not about coming to power but about retaining our self respect." said MK Stalin
MK Stalin then said that DMK party has always fought against the anti people laws like CAA unlike AIADMK MP's who jumped to accept it. Even in the case of an AIADMK candidate winning in the upcoming election, he/she will not be an AIADMK MLA but a BJP MLA."
