Coimbatore: DMK party Chief MK Stalin today campaigned in Coimbatore. He covered areas in Kinathukadavu, Thondamuthur and Sulur constituencies garnering support for the DMK alliance candidates in the areas.
MK Stalin who spoke amidst the public gathering in Kinathukadavu said that "AIADMK minister SP Velumani is involved in many corrupt activities. He is involved in corrupt activities in 12,000 town panchayats with corruption up to 1 crore in every town panchayat.
Sathur MLA Rajavarman who left AIADMK has recently said that Minister SP Velumani is involved in corruption of upto ₹2 lakh crores.
When DMK was fighting against BJP's CAA law which is against the people, Panneerselvam's son rushed to vote for it in the parliament. But the same AIADMK party is giving false assurance by saying that they will urge the central government to cancel the law."
MK Stalin then assured that the criminals involved in the Pollachi sexual assault case will definitely be published.
DMK Chief MK Stalin later said "AIADMK has taken the copy of DMK's election manifesto and has published it as their own. The joint efforts of Kalaingar and Jayalalithaa to prohibit NEET in TamilNadu has been executed by the current government. They did not take any action regarding the petition filed with the president.
According to our manifesto, Athikadavu - Avinashi scheme will soon be developed with regards to the development of Coimbatore District, an Indian Architectural Organization will be opened in Coimbatore and a metro train service will soon be initiated to ease the traffic.
To empower women, 30% reservation given to women will be increased to 40%. Loans taken by women at Co-operative Banks will be waived."
MK Stalin further said that "I urged the government to give ₹5000 per family as Covid-19 relief. But the AIADMK government has given only 1000 rupees, when DMK comes to power the remaining 4,000 will be settled."
He then added that "Monthly Electricity Bill paying method will be initiated, high-tech cold storage units will be built in Kinathukadavu and Thondamuthur areas."
On talking about BJP, Stalin said that "Modi's tricks won't work in Dravidian soil."
