VM Shanmugasundaram is contesting at the Coimbatore North constituency on behalf of DMK.
Coimbatore: DMK's Coimbatore North constituency candidate VM Shanmugasundaram today morning visited the Marudhamalai Murugan Temple and later visited the residential areas of tribals to gather support.
He then told the tribals that all their basic needs will be solved immediately.

Meanwhile DMK's Coimbatore North constituency candidate VM Shanmugasundaram along with DMK's Kavundampalayam constituency candidate Payya R Krishnan todayvisited the Maruthamalai Murugan temple to seek blessings.
Both of them later visited the tribal residential sites and campaigned in the area. Shanmugam while speaking in Vadavalli said that "All the basic amenities and needs of the public will be solved immediately once DMK comes back to power.
DMK and other alliance party members should go on a superfast campaign. Members should go to every house explaining the nominations to every individual turning them into votes."
He then said that DMK alliance will win in all the constituencies of Kongu region and assured that the party will also win the 234 constituencies making MK Stalin as the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, who will ensure everything as promised in the manifesto.
DMK member Kuppuswamy, Block Secretary Velusamy Raja, Marudhamalai Saravana Kumar Senthil, Mahesh Kumar and Pachaimuthu Parameshwaran from Congress and Ramamurthy from CPI took part in the meeting.
