Coimbatore: Madhasarbatra Murpoku Kootani alliance headed by DMK party has announced Communist Party member Murugan as the candidate for the Valparai constituency in Coimbatore.
Post the announcement the party office was opened in Anamalai yesterdayalong with the candidate introductory meeting.
DMK Coimbatore South Secretary Thendral Selvaraj, Anamalai Zone Secretary Yuvraj and representatives from other alliance parties took part in the event.
Meanwhile today C PI candidate Murugan met the party members of Annamalai East and West Zone and requested for their support in the upcoming elections.
He then met with the press and stated that "The ruling AIADMK party is acting as the puppet for the central BJP government
People are heavily affected by the hike in the prices of Petrol-Diesel and LPG gas cylinders. Since the government is focused on giving job opportunities to candidates from other states, youths from Tamilnadu are facing trouble to secure employment.
So I kindly request the public of TamilNadu to vote for the Madhasarbatra Murpoku Kootani alliance and make us win in the 234 constituencies."
