Works to repair electric lights in Kinathukadavu National Highway intensified
Coimbatore: The repair work for electric lights fixed in the Kinathukadavu National Highway has been intensified. The two-lane road between Coimbatore, Kinathukadavu and Pollachi has been extended to four lanes by the National Highways Department.

More than 100 electric lights have been installed at Kovilpalayam, Thamaraikulam and Kinathukadavu on the extended National Highway. It was observed that the lights fitted in the middle of the national highway were defunct at times and many places remain dark.

The workers are currently engaged in repairing the electric lights on the national highway today. Since the faulty bulbs are being replaced by them using a crane in the Kinathukadavu-Kallangattuputhur area, the National Highways Department has informed that the lights will function properly at nighttime.
