DMK and AIADMK clash during the campaign in Kinathukkadavu constituency
Coimbatore: There was a clash between DMK and AIADMK during the campaign in Kinathukkadavu constituency. Kinathukkadavu Assembly constituency DMK candidate Kurichi Prabhakaran today organized the campaign work of the DMK with Marudhamalai District Officer Senadhipathi in the 100th ward in the Mettur area of the corporation under Kinathukkadavu constituency.
DMK was prepared to give an enthusiastic welcome to them with the song "Stalin Vararu, Vidyal Tharaporaru". AIADMK ward secretary Venugopal came with the AIADMK and allegedly grabbed the AIADMK flag and got involved in an unnecessary issue. DMK has also accused that the AIADMK sat in front of DMK office and engaged in anarchy to incite violence.
Police who arrived there instructed the superintendent to leave. But the superintendent got into an argument with the police and there was a stir as the DMK members started to gather there. As there is an intense competition as election nears it is to be noted that such quarells have been going on in some places between the DMK and the AIADMK party members.
