Boy attacked by leopard shifted from Pollachi GH to Coimbatore GH for further treatment
Coimbatore: The boy who was attacked by a leopard in Sholayar has been shifted from Pollachi Government Hospital to Coimbatore for further treatment.
A leopard attacked a boy named Eeswaran (12) who was playing outside his house last evening in Sholayar Estate, Third Division area near Valparai. The public rescued the boy trapped by the leopard and then informed the forest department. The boy was taken to the Pollachi Government Hospital by an ambulance from Valparai last night. The boy was admitted to the Pollachi Government Hospital with serious injuries to his neck. He was later rushed to Coimbatore Government Hospital for further treatment as he was suffering from shortness of breath.
