Measures will be taken to make Pollachi an independent constituency - DMK Pollachi Constituency Candidate Dr Varadharajan assures public
Coimbatore: DMK Candidate for Pollachi Assembly Constituency Dr Varadharajan today went on a procession from the party office in Mahalingapuram till the Sub Collector's Office in Pollachi to file his nomination for TN Assembly Elections 2021.
On reaching the Election Commission Office in Pollachi, Dr Varadharajan submitted his nomination and took an oath in front of Pollachi Sub Collector Vaidhiyanathan who is also the election officer of Pollachi constituency.
Dr Varadharajan then addressed the media and said, "As per the long term requests of the Pollachi farmers to increase the water supply, the Anamalaiaru and Nallaru plan will soon be established. To control the traffic in the area, actions will be taken to construct ring bridges." He also added that the Pollachi Government Hospital will be upgraded with high-end technologies and modern equipment.
Dr Varadharajan guaranteed that he will take measures to make Pollachi an independent district, which is a long term request of the public.
