AMMK Challenger Durai files his nomination today
Coimbatore: AMMK candidate Challenger Durai who is contesting in the Coimbatore Southconstituency, is a former MLA.R. Challenger Durai (A) Duraisamy filed his nomination at the Coimbatore Coimbatore Central Office.
After being elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Coimbatore South constituency in 2011 heimplemented several welfare schemes like upgrading Coimbatore government hospital at a cost of over Rs. 200 crore, and upgrading most important government offices, including the District Collector's Office. He said that "he had done a lot during his tenure and he completed the construction of a girls' high school and provided an opportunity for the education of more than 2700 girls.
I still have a place in people's hearts and he is simple enough that people can easily approach him whenever they want and express their grievances."
