Coimbatore North DMK candidate of Mathasarbatra Murpokku Kootani V.M. Shanmugasundaram files his nomination
Coimbatore: Coimbatore North DMK candidate of Mathasarbatra Murpokku Kootani V.M. Shanmugasundaram files his nomination ahead of the assembly election on April 6. Coimbatore North DMK candidate VM Shanmugasundar came to the campaign along with key party executives and volunteers and formally filed his nomination with the Election Officer at the Election Office at the Agricultural Development Center at the Coimbatore Lawley Road junction.
DMK candidate Shanmugasundar told the reporters that he was confident of winning the Coimbatore North constituency by a majority of votes and that the people of the constituency had faced various hardships during the last 10 years of rule.
He also said that immediate action would be taken after the victory to solve problems including basic amenities like drinking water, sewerage and street lighting. Similarly, he assured that action would be taken to provide patta to the Arunthathiyar community.
