Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Thursday recorded 945 fresh COVID-19 cases and 8 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 8,62,374 and toll to 12,564.
Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday recorded 945 fresh COVID-19 cases and 8 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 8,62,374 and toll to 12,564.
Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 576 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,43,999 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 5,811.
Among districts, Chennai led with 395 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 107 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 71,888 today, totalling to 1,84,85,460 getting examined till date.
