Around 27 sovereigns of gold, reported stolen from the house of a software engineer in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: Manoj (34) from Keeranatham near Saravanampatti in Coimbatore is a Software engineer at a private IT company.
Two days ago Manoj along with his family members went to their relatives house in Tirupur. Upon returning home yesterday, the family members were shocked to see the main door of the house broken.
Inside the house the lockers were also broken into and 27 sovereign gold jewellery and diamond jewels were found missing.
Manoj then filed a complaint with the Kovilpalayam Police Station who brought fingerprint analysts and forensic experts to identify the crime scene.
Police officials are investigating regarding the burglary incident with the help of CCTV cameras fixed near the location.
