One week old baby boy with disabilities was left helpless last week near Lakshmi Mills area in Palladam, Tirupur. On 7 th March an ambulance (108 service) driver recovered the baby and admitted him at the Coimbatore Government Hospital.
After initial check up doctors found that the baby has a tumour on the back. The baby also had its anus closed.
Later the baby was admitted for immediate major surgery on 7th March and was kept under the supervision of Medical College Head Nirmala, Chief of Surgery Rangarajan and Chief Anesthesiologist Kalyana Sundaram.

Today after complete recovery, the baby was handed over to the Tamilnadu Social Service Center (children's home).
Doctor's said that the tumor on the baby's back will be surgically removed after growth.This incident flooded the eyes of the people at the hospital.
