Coimbatore: Election Commission Officials in Coimbatore are involved in continuous search and vehicle checks in an effort to shut down cash flow and free gifts for votes during the state assembly elections.

During the preliminary investigation, officials revealed that the man who was taking the cash was Sakthivel from the Sanganur area. The cash seized during the checks were then surrendered to the Coimbatore North Election Officer Murugesan
Officials then asked Shakthivel to produce the documents for the cash to get it back.
