After the candidate announcement, Ilithurai K Ramachandran today filed his nomination to contest at the Coonoor Constituency ahead of the state assembly elections in Tamilnadu.
He submitted his nomination to Election Officer Ranjith Singh. DMK's Nilgiris District Secretary Mubarak, Coonoor Secretary M Ramasamy were present during the nominations.
Before the filing of nominations over 500 members of DMK came as a procession with Chenda Melam near the Coonoor Government Hospital road.
