The Nilgiris: With the state assembly election date announcement in Tamilnadu, party members have allocated the constituencies to the respective candidates, who have now begun their nomination process.
In the AIADMK led NDA alliance with BJP in Tamilnadu, 20 seats have been allocated to BJP party. In that a candidate list was announced yesterday which revealed the candidates of 17 constituencies. But the candidates of Ooty, Thali and Vilavankadu are yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, BJP Secretary CT Ravi hurriedly arrived in Ooty today afternoon from Chikmagalur in a helicopter. On his arrival in Thitukal in Ooty, flying squad officials searched his helicopter.

CT Ravi met the party members at a private hall and conducted interviews with more than 20 members in 1 hour.
After the interview, BJP secretary CT Ravi addressed the media and said that the candidates for the remaining 3 constituencies will be announced by tomorrow.
During the press meet, CT Ravi was asked about AIADMK's promise to the people of TN to revoke the CAA law, to which he answered that AIADMK is confused about CAA law and said that BJP will clear it.
He also said that this will not affect the alliance.
