When asked about Vanathi Srinivasan's recent remark on him going back to shoot Big boss post elections, MNM Party President Kamal Haasan said that "Like a doctor continuing his profession of treating people after the election results, I too have a profession which is not politics. For us politics is not a job but a responsibility."
Vanathi Srinivasan commented on Kamal Haasan after filing her nomination that the actor turned politician will go back to shoot "Big Boss" after the assembly election and added that not every actors' political stunts in Tamil Nadu will win the heart of public.
On being asked on why he chose Coimbatore South over 234 constituencies, the MNM President replied that "People of Coimbatore are deceived, the electoral promises were never met."
“Among the promises were good roads, improved sanitation, airport expansion. But, have they fulfilled these? I will strive to make Coimbatore South Constituency as the model constituency by executing the current needs without making new assurances like providing metro train service etc", the actor said.
