North Assembly constituency candidate Amman K Arjunan worships Vinayagar and visited each house to collect votes
Coimbatore: Coimbatore North Assembly constituency candidate Amman K Arjunan worshipped at the Vinayagar temple in Gandhima Nagar and started door-to-door canvassing for votes.
Amman K Arjunan contested and won the Coimbatore South Assembly constituency in 2016. Arjunan was allotted the north constituency this time by theparty leadership as the south constituency was allotted to the coalition parties. Following this, he arrived at the Vinayagar temple in the northern constituency of Coimbatore at around 7.30 am today to collect votes. He worshipped at the temple and collected votes from all the public who were going for a walk and going to buy milk.

Then he went to Bharathi Nagar area and went to every house and collected votes. He said AIADMK government is capable of doing what they promise and more. He talked to each of the women for 3 minutes and collected votes. Then, pointing to the election manifesto released by the AIADMK yesterday, the Edappadi government and the Amma government is more concerned about the welfare of women. He said he has been making several projects for family heads regularly.
He canvassed for votes until 10 am. People enthusiastically gathered and welcomed him and several party executives attended.
