As a part of the random checks of vehicles, the officials found a truck from Karnataka which was on its way to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala with a Tamilnadu registration.
Due to the search of the vehicle, officials found Rs 56 lakhs worth of foreign liquors without any documentations or proofs.
Hence the officials seized the truck along with the foreign alcohol bottles and surrendered them to Amsaveni, Election Officer of Madukkarai at the Madukkarai Tahsildar Office in Coimbatore.
