Coimbatore: DMK chief MK Stalin today released the election manifesto for the upcoming elections. The manifesto launched by DMK had 500 important assurances.

Some of the important points in the election manifesto introduced by DMK:

The Central Government will be urged to keep Thirukural as the National Book of India.

Separate court to hear complaints against AIADMK ministers.

People grievance camp in all constituencies.

Legislature programs will be broadcasted live on television.

Pongal will be celebrated as a cultural festival.

Property tax will not be increase until the Covid-19 damages are rectified.

Rs.4000 / will be given for every family with ration rice card as Covid-19 relief.

Price of Aavin milk will be reduced by Rs. 3 per liter.

Petrol price will be reduced by Rs 5 per liter and diesel will be reduced by Rs 4 per liter.

Reduction in the price of cooking cylinder by 100 rupees.

Flying roads in large corporations.

Electricity bill once a month.

1kg sugar free in ration shops.

40% reservation for women in government jobs.

Rs 1 crore relief to the family of police officers who lost their lives on duty.

Kalaingar special housing scheme.

Scheme to convert Sea water to drinking water.

Cable car facility in mountain areas.

The salaries and pensions of rural priests will be increased.

Rs 1,000 crore will be allocated to renovate Hindu temples, Rs 200 crore to renovate Muslim and Christian temples.

Old age pension will be increased to 1500 rupees.

Handmaids, unmarried woman, Sri Lankan refugees will be given a pension of 1500 rupees.

An economic top committee will be set up to adjust the debt burden.
