Coimbatore: Namma Ooru Sandhai is scheduled to happen in Coimbatore on (Sunday) the 14th of this month.
The event is scheduled to happen from 10 am to 3 pmat the Corporation High School, Crosscut Road, Gandhipuram.
At the Namma Ooru Sandhai, all home items including traditional rice varieties, millets, wood oil varieties, native sugar, black currant, caramel, groceries, vegetables, fruits, greens, poultry and duck eggs are to be sold.
Other items including baby food, dessert items, twists, traditional herbal tea powder, pickles, herbal powders, home remedies, underwear for children and adults, Body cleansers, beeswax soaps, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, pottery,sporting goods, wooden and bamboo furnitures are also to be sold.
Stalls for lunch, juices and nira drinks are made available at the Namma Ooru Market. Special games are also organised for toddlers and kids.
Guests are requested to bring cloth bags and appropriate utensils for buying oil. Everyone is welcome admission is free.
