One killed as 40-yr-old building collapses in Bhiwandi

In yet another building collapse incidence, a 40 year old dilapidated building collapsed on Friday early morning in Bhiwandi killing one person who was sleeping at the entrance of the building.

Due to the impact of collapse an adjoining building also suffered some damage due to which around 20 families living inside building have been asked to vacate it.

This is fourth incidence of building collapse in last two months in Bhiwandi.

The Bhiwandi-Nizampura municipal official claimed that the building was in the list of dangerous buildings and residents were evacuated last week after it developed some crack.

The incident took place on Friday early morning after which fire and civic body team rushed to the spot.
