GIO Coimbatore holds a programme on theme "Not just a woman but a Superwoman"
Coimbatore: A program was conducted on 7.3.2021 by Girls Islamic Organisation GIO Coimbatore, on the main theme "NOT JUST A WOMAN BUT A SUPERWOMAN" at Islamiyah Matriculation Higher Secondary School at 4 pm on behalf of International Women's Day (March 8th).
The program commenced with Quran verses. It included a small tribute video to JIH Ladies Wings women on their dedication and commitment of their works and also a group song was sung by the members of GIO.
As the day's main event, they had a self- defence class conducted by Sonika Vickraman and her crew of two ladies and a gentleman from Alan Thilak Karate School. The session was not only entertaining but also very educational at the same time.
There was also fun games and prize distribution for the audience including the GIO teenagers and the JIH Ladies Wings women.
