Videographers Union Members in Pollachi petition at the Sub Collector's office in Pollachi, Coimbatore today against the EC granting videography contracts to corporates.
Since the contracts were given to corporate companies now, Videographers Union from Pollachi todaypetitioned Pollachi Sub Collector Vaidhiyanathan and said that this decision has affected their livelihood.
In their petition the Videographers Union Members mentioned that "There are over 400 videographers in the areas of Pollachi, Anamalai and other areas surrounding it. These videographers have already lost their livelihood during the Covid-19 pandemic have now got another blow since the videography contracts have not been assigned to local videographers."
