DMDK to no longer be in alliance with AIADMK, BJP coalition: DMDK President Vijayakanth
Coimbatore: In a press release today, DMDK President and General Secretary Vijayakanth said that the DMDK will no longer continue to be in alliance with AIADMK, BJP coalition. He further stated that talks were held in three phases with AIADMK but they did not lead to a satisfactory consensus on the constituencies and the number of constituencies they demanded.
He hence said in the consultation meeting held with the district secretaries on March 9th they have decided to cut their ties and are no longer in the AIADMK and BJP coalition.
