Mukkulathor Pulipadai Leader Actor Karunas to support DMK
Coimbatore: Karunas supports DMK. As the Mukkulathor Pulipadai led by actor Karunas, announced its withdrawal from the AIADMK yesterday. It was reported that the DMK had requested Karunas to contest under the rising sun symbol.
Karunas, who withdrew from the AIADMK alliance, has submitted a letter of support to the DMK in the forthcoming assembly elections. Ajay, the Mukkulathor Pulipadai youth wing secretary, has handed over a letter of support to DMK secretary RS Bharathi. The letter has caused a stir in political circles. Karunas had won the last election as an MLA in the AIADMK alliance.
