Coimbatore: An auditorium and Amarar Balathandayuthapani statue that was newly built at the Indian Communist Office was inaugurated today (7.03.2021) at 10.30 am. General Secretary of the All India Communist Party of India, T Raja, unveiled the statue and inaugurated the auditorium.

Later All India Communist Party Of India’s State Secretary Mutharasan inaugurated the S Kannan memorial. CPI party state treasurer M Arumugam inaugurated the Memorial Inscription.
Later CPI General Secretary T Raja addressed the gathering and said that “We now have a responsibility to save India. The BJP is pursuing fascist policies. If fascism wins in India, people will not be able to move freely. The upcoming elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala pose a threat to the BJP.

Whenever Modi comes to India he quotes from Thirukkural. He then quotes and talks about West Bengal’s culture when he visits there and follows the same strategy when they go to Kerala. The BJP government focuses on One Nation and One Culture! Then what is the reason behind quoting different cultures? Have they accepted secularism? They can never understand the cultural diversity in India. After joining hands with BJP, talking about the welfare of Tamilnadu is cheating.”
“India and Tamilnadu can be saved only when the alliance under DMK wins. There is a need to preserve the secular nature of the country, social justice and political and economic equality. The Modi’s BJP government focuses on the development of Giant Corporates and introduces laws which benefits them. This is the reason behind approving farm bills which are against the livelihood of the farmers.”
Earlier CPI State Secretary Mutharasan addressed the gathering, He said “Our country is surrounded by fringe elements which is trying to seize power by carrying out all sorts of maneuvers. In Pondicherry, MLAs are being bought for a price. In Tamilnadu they are trying to leg up using AIADMK’s weak situation. Our important duty is to prevent this shakti class from gaining a foothold in Tamilnadu. That is why we have passed a resolution at the Madurai Conference to prevent communal forces from setting foot in Tamil Nadu. Based on this, we have signed an alliance with the DMK. So, ambition is the front line in this election, we all strive to fulfill the ambition.”
