Majestic Tiger spotted on the Coonoor-Kotagiri road in The Nilgiris!

Incidents of wild animals roaming near the Coonoor-Kotagiri road has increased in recent times.


The Nilgiris:

Travellers and car drivers who were on the way from Coonoor to Kotagiri in The Nilgiris district clicked pictures of a lone tiger they saw on the roadside Friday night.

Wild animals like Bison, Deer, Bear, Leopard and Tiger can be spotted easily near the town area of Coonoor in The Nilgiris where they come out in search of water.



However, travellers near Belmont area on the Coonoor-Kotagiri road saw a tiger which was roaming the area alone.The traveller took pictures of the Tiger on the mobile phone amidst the fear.

The tiger then went on it's way into the forest area. Incidents of wild animals roaming near the Coonoor-Kotagiri road has increased in recent times.
