Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 560 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,38,085 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 3,952.
Among districts, Chennai led with 243 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 48 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 55,051 today, totalling to 1,77,91,275 getting examined till date.
