Mahashivaratri: Isha’s all-night celebrations to go online; Adiyogi & Dhyanalinga to be closed from 8-11 March
Coimbatore: Mahashivaratri, the grandest event on the Isha calendar, will go online this year in keeping with government directives to restrict in-person gatherings. A very limited number of people will be able to participate in the celebrations by prior registration only. Participants will be required to produce a COVID-negative test report to participate.
To control the crowd size and social distancing, this year an immersive meditative experience will be available as a paid programme and free online. Adiyogi and Dhyanalinga will be closed from 8 March to 11 March. Isha Yoga Center will welcome visitors to Adiyogi from 10:30 a.m. on 12 March.
