Coimbatore: Undiyal money counting works begin in Anaimalai Masaniamman temple and Rs. 57,59,852 was received.
Masaniamman Temple is one of the most famous temples located in Anaimalai and it is customary for a large number of devotees from districts and states to come here on Fridays, Amavasai and special days. The Masaniamman Temple Gundam Festival was held last month. The counting of undiyal offerings took place yesterday.
Coimbatore Assistant Commissioner Vijayalakshmi, Anaimalai Masaniamman Temple Assistant Commissioner Karunanidhi and Inspector Arul Prakash were present on the occasion.

The temple administration said Rs. 57 lakh 49 thousand 852 was counted, 299 grams of gold jewelry, 901 grams of silver jewelry and foreign currencies were also donated.
