During the press meet CT Ravi stated that "There is no issue between BJP and AIADMK in deciding the allocation of election constituencies. We are still in discussion about the constituency allocation, when the meeting concludes tomorrowthe party will make an announcement."

He then said that "NDA alliance will definitely win the 234 election constituencies in Tamilnadu."

BJP National General Secretary CT Ravi then commented on Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi and said that "Rahul Gandhi is making stunts like a joker to attract people, Tamilnadu and Kerala needs a leader and not a joker."

When reporters questioned about violence against women in BJP ruled areas and questioned about the BJP Minister in Karnataka who is accused of sexual offence, CT Ravi remained silent for sometime not knowing what to answer. Later he made a damage control answer by saying that the BJP party will never tolerate violence done against women.

Further speaking in the press meet BJP National General Secretary CT Ravi said "We will destroy our enemies using Vetrivel and make the development path of BJP win again. BJP will go door to door campaigning ahead the elections and make Lotus bloom in Tamilnadu again. We don't need DMK and Congress again, this is the time for people to make their decision."
