BJP behind Sasikala's withdrawal from politics - Sitaram Yechury in Coimbatore

There is BJP's role behind Sasikala's withdrawal from politics - Sitaram Yechury in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Sitaram Yechury in an interview in Coimbatore said there is BJP's role behind Sasikala's withdrawal from politics. Meeting the reporters she said, "People are suffering due to the increase in petrol and diesel prices affecting various parties. The AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu only listens to the BJP and hence to save the people from this, we have formed an alliance with the DMK for the benefit of the people."

Commenting on Sasikala's announcement that she was leaving politics, she said there was BJP's role behind Sasikala's withdrawal from politics and this deviation would make the BJP happy.

She added, "Depending on the political stand of the CPM, we have formed alliances with other parties in other states. The Kerala government has rejected the new agricultural laws. The resolution has been passed in the legislature. But the ruling government in Tamil Nadu supports it. The Tamil Nadu government has not taken any action against the new agricultural laws. The number of our MPs in Parliament may be low and we do not care for that. Our mission is to fight for the people. We will always be on the field. We will always speak out against events that take place against the country and the people."

She further added, "They still advertise posters of Prime Minister Modi in petrol bunks. But the Election Commission does not mind it and have asked for clarification on the holding of elections in West Bengal in 8 phases. The 8-phase election is an arrangement for BJP leaders to campaign more. We don't not oppose the provision of postal voting for the elderly, but said that there should be no irregularities in postal voting. The Election Commission should make sure of it. It is wrong only to criticize Supreme Court judges, one can comment on the judgments,"
