Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 482 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,35,506 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,009.
Among districts, Chennai led with 171 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 41 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 50,091 today, totalling to 1,75,29,663 getting examined till date.
