Two family members of the deceased woman are now under intensive care at Coimbatore Government Hospital.

Meanwhile Gajapati, his wife Kalavathi and son Mahendran who resided at Ambikapuram, Coonoor kept themselves warm by burning wood in a fireplace.
Kalavathi (55) unfortunately died on Monday after inhaling the smoke from the wood burning in the fireplace to keep them warm.
Neighbours said that the family members went to sleep and did not open up in the morning. When the neighbours checked via the windows, they found the family members unconscious.
Later the locals admitted the family members at the Coonoor government hospital where Kalavathi was declared dead earlier.
Family members Gajapati (60) and son Mahendran (30) are now shifted to the Coimbatore government hospital for intensive treatment.
This shocking incident has saddened the entire neighborhood.
