Yesterday under the leadership of DMK MLA Karthik the grama sabha meeting was held at Pazhaiyur and Ramanathapuram.
The Coimbatore City Police again arrested around 300 members from DMK along with Karthik MLA, District representatives of DMK Udaiyakumar, Selvaraj, Anandan, Kannan, Uma Maheshwari, Kalpana, Annamal and many others for organizing an event without permission.
In a similar incident the police department arrested DMK Youth Wing Organizer Kotai Abbas, area secretary P. Fadhurudeen, ward secretary Thandapani and Kovai Sujith for conducting and participating in the grama sabha event without permission at the highway colony near Trichy Road.
