Coimbatore: Newlywed man commit suicide by jumping in front of a train. Raja (age 40) from Cuddalore, Ramanathapuram, was working as an employee in a private company in Coimbatore. He got married 8 months ago. After marriage, Raja rented a house in Ratnapuri, Coimbatore with his wife. Raja who left his home this morningwent straight to the North Coimbatore railway station.
He was then seen to be wandering around on the railway platform. Suddenly when a train came that way, Raja, who was standing on the platform, suddenly jumped in front of the train and committed suicide. The people around were shocked and immediately reported to the Railway Police.
Railway police rushed to the spot, seized Raja's body and sent it to a government hospital for autopsy. Railway police have registered a case and are investigating whether the suicide was due to a family dispute or if there was any other reason.
