Public requested not to dump garbage on roadsides
Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner and Special officer inspected the 24 hour drinking water project in West Zone RS puram.
Corporation Commissioner visited Coimbatore Corporation West Zone RSpuram Venkatasamy Road, Ponnurangam Road, Periyasamy Road, Punniyakodi Road for installation of drinking water pipes for 24 hours. He said that the roads dug for 24-hour civil works should be rehabilitated immediately after making sure that there are no leaks after laying pipes.
The concerned engineers and Suez employees were instructed to complete the work expeditiously. Following this, the people of the area were asked to keep the roads clean and not to dump garbage on the roadsides in the Punniyakodi road area.
A. Lakshmanan, City Engineer, Saravanakumar, Engineers (Smart City), Parvathy, Assistant Engineers Drinking water Project, Kamalakkannan, Sathyamoorthy, Project Management and Corporation officials were present during the inspection.
