Coimbatore: Shanmuga Vadivel (68) Poodipalayam, Pollachi went for a job yesterdayat a palm tree farm at Thangavel thootam in Anaimalai.
During his job of climbing the palm trees at the farm, Shanmuga Vadivel slipped and fell down which caused serious injuries to his head.
He was then taken to the Pollachi Government Hospital where the doctor's declared him dead on arrival.
Anaimalai police officials have filed a case under section 174 and have taken the custody of the body and are conducting further investigation regarding the tragic death of Shanmuga Vadivel.
