Coimbatore: The NSS and NCC students of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore are all set to take part in the Republic Day parade this year in the presence of the honorable President of India in Delhi.
This is the 6th consecutive year of participation for the students from Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore which has brought pride to the college.
NSS studentB. Praveen Kumar took part in the Pre- Republic Day Parade abd has brought laurels to the college.
B. Praveen Kumar and S. Pavithra of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore on behalf of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore got selected for the practice given at Trichy for ten days from 27 November to 6 Decemberto take part in the Republic Day parade to be conducted on 26 January 2021at New Delhi.
B. Praveen Kumar has been selected based on the multi talent that he has exhibited and for the expertise in Silambam and the service he has rendered so far in NSS.
Besides NSS, R.S. Aravind a NCC student from the same institution has also been selected for the Republic Day parade in Delhi.
R.S Aravindparticipated in the practice session in Madurai from 16th November to 16 th Decemberand where he exposed his unique skill which paved way for his selection in the Republic Day parade.
Apart from these S. Pavithra, a NSS student is going to participate in the parade at Chennai in the presence of the honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu.
This is indeed marks a moment of pride as three students of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore have been selected to participate in the Republic Day parade in the capital of India and the capital of Tamil Nadu.
