The party members had arranged for a picture of Thanthai Periyar and payed their respect offering garlands and flowers.
DMK representatives Paalpandi, Soundarapandi, J Baskar, EK Ponnusamy, Senthil, Selvam, Muruganantham, Maneesh, Venkatesh, Jayaram, Vellaiyan, Mahendran, Prakash, Kumar, Rajakani and Amirthraj along with the local public took part at the gathering.
