Coimbatore: DMK members across the town took their constituencies to meet with large number of people for the 'We Reject AIADMK' signature drive. On the instructions of DMK leader MK Stalin on behalf of the DMK in Coimbatore East District, this morning in the 62nd Ward of Coimbatore Corporation Balasundaram Layout, Iyer Lay Out, 'We Reject the DMK' signature movement and Ward council meeting was held.
The event, which was led by MLA N. Karthik Coimbatore East District DMK Officer was attended by a large number of members of the public with interest.
According to the public who took part in the signature drive, said that "in the AIADMK regime they have been facing severe drinking water shortages, unlit streetlights, damaged roads with potholes, mosquitoes, stagnant sewage in sewers, the spread of infections, and underground sewerage works that have been going for about 10 years in a slow pace.
The public then took part in the signature movement and registered their inconveniences through 'We Reject the AIADMK'. The event was attended by District Responsibility Committee Member Singai Prabhakaran, Singanallur Area-2 Officer-in-Charge M. Siva, District Secretary Singai Anbu, Urban Union Administrators, DMK members and a large number of members of the public.
