Coimbatore: Floral tribute paid to the victims of the protest against agricultural amendment law in Delhi. Millions of farmers in Delhi are protesting against the 3 agricultural bills brought by the central government. In support of them, various political parties across India have been fighting against the central government's agricultural amendment laws. About 40 farmers were killed in Delhi as they fought against the law.

A martyrs event was held near the Coimbatore Red Cross today to mark the occasion of Agriculture Day. At the event held on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Farmers' Association, candles were lit and flowers were sprinkled on the photographs of the deceased farmers. Slogans were also raised urging the repeal of the agricultural law and condemning the central government.

Coimbatore MP PR Natarajan, Gurudwara leader Iqbal Singh and more than 50 people, including Sivasamy of the Communist Party of India, paid floral tributes to the deceased farmers.
