The police after their investigation filed cases under 5 sections against the brothers and produced them before the Pollachi J.M-1 magistrate who then sentenced the brother's to Avinashi prison.
Coimbatore: Ganapathy who is a head constable at a police station in Pollachi, Coimbatore district was involved in clearing traffic near the famous Masaniamman Temple. During his duty, Ganapathy saw two members on a bike overspeeding and asked them to go slow.
The two members fell down from their bike unfortunately due to the slowing down by the constable. The guys on the bike who were agitated with Ganapathy, threatened him and verbally harassed him. During the argument that happened between them and the two youths suddenly started to hit Ganapathy.
Head constable Ganapathy then lodged a complaint at the Anamalai police station and the police arrested the two brothers Santhosh Kumar (28) and Manigandan (30) for enquiry.
