Coimbatore: Investigationreveals that bullets found at Coimbatore Central Jail were the ones missed by female police. Coimbatore Central Jail's entrance is located in the VOC park road. Five bullets were found on a roadside 200 meters from the entrance to the Central Jail yesterday. Passers-by who saw this informed the Racecourse Police about it.

Police led by Inspector Sakthivel immediately rushed to the spot and inspected the bullets. The investigation revealed that the bullets were used in the Point 410 Musket rifle used by the police who came to present the prisoners. The incident caused a stir in the area and the Racecourse police investigated as to who left the bullets there.

The investigation revealed that the woman, who had come to the Coimbatore Central Jail from the Gobichettipalayam police station in Erode district, had missed those bullets there. She has come to pick up an inmate lodged in Coimbatore Central Jail in connection with a case and produce him in court. Then the woman got down from the police bus and it was revealed that the bullets she had in her small bag had fallen off. Racecourse police handed over the bullets to the female police officer who missed them.
