'Air Arabia' increase its services to 3 flights every week between Coimbatore - Sharjah from December 28: Each time 1.5 to 2 tonnes of cargos sent
Coimbatore: While many airlines have started showing more interest in increasing their flight services in the domestic sector. 'Air Arabia' which is the only airline providing services in the international sector to Sharjah has increased its service from December 28.
Post 'Covid-19' outbreak Government of India had banned international flight services. At present international airlines 'Air Arabia' is alone providing service to Sharjah during Wednesday and Saturday every week. The airline's management has taken initiative in increasing the service.
Aviation sources talking to SimpliCity said, "Air Arabia has increased one more service between Coimbatore and Sharjah from December 28 (Monday). After that a new flight service on everyMonday will be started. At present there is no cargo coming from Sharjah in thatflight.
While departing to Sharjah from Coimbatore each time on an average 1.5 tonnes to 2 tonnes of cargo is sent. This flight departs from Sharjah at 11:45 pm and reaches Coimbatore at 3:30 am. Again it departs Sharjah at 4:10 am. The additional service will be helpful to the passengers."
