In Mookambika Nagar, Amravati Nagar and Kumaran Nagar, in the Tirupur Corporation area, the rainwater clogs and looks like a puddle all over the road.
The protest was held claiming that the corporation supplies drinking water only once in 15 daysand that garbage from Vallalar Nagar to Mookambika Nagar is stagnant.
More than 50 residents protested in front of the collector's office, denouncing the corporation. They also said that if the grievances were not rectified after filing a petition with the Collector, they would engage in a road blockade as the next stage of the struggle.
