AIADMK-BJP alliance is a confusing alliance: Manithaneya Makkal Katchi Leader Jawaharulla
Coimbatore: Manithaneya Makkal Katchi Leader Jawaharulla said AIADMK-BJP alliance is a confusing alliance. He told reporters at the rally that the announcement of the Pongal benefit at the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's election campaign meeting was a blatant violation of the rules and regulations and that it was a bribe in the run-up to the Assembly elections.
He said the Modi government was a government for corporates and that MMK would fight against the rise in gas prices. He said, "There is a lot of confusion in the AIADMK alliance and it was questionable whether the AIADMK-BJP alliance would last till the elections. DMK alliance is united and the DMK alliance is the alliance that the people want."
When asked about BJP vice-president Annamalai's claim that Rs. 2000 was being paid for votes he said, "The person in the alliance had himself confessed. If I got another Rs.2500 and voted for the AIADMK, I would lose my rights under the slave rule for another 5 years. AIADMK was a confusing alliance and even if many teams come from the BJP alliance to the polls DMK would be superior and it cannot be shaken by any alliance."
