Coimbatore: Couple under investigation for cheating youth of ₹10 lakh rupees. The couple is said to have promised the youth on securing him a VAO job.
Kasinathan (27) from Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore recently filed a complaint at the Koodalpudur police station in Madurai.
In his complaint Kasinathan mentioned to have known Shri Pugal Indira from Madurai via Facebook. He also said that Shri Pugal Indira said to him that her husband Ganesapandian works at the museum and that he has contacts with superior officers at the secretariat.
In his petition Kailasanathan said that Shri Pugal Indira promised him on securing a Village Administration Officer (VAO) post if Kailasanathan spent around ₹10 lakhs for it.
Kailasanathan who believed this transferred 10 lakh rupees online to Shri Pugal Indira and gave the remaining amount to the couple at their house in Anaiyur Rojamalar Nagar.
As promised Kasinathan was not offered the VAO job nor got his money back. In his complaint Kasinathan said that he was threatened for his life when he asked his money back. He further requested the police officials to take immediate action regarding this job scam by the couple.
The police officials filed a case on this and are investigating the couple Shri Pugal Indira and Ganesapandian who were involved in the job scam.
