6 Months 7 Flights, 1,000 passengers travelled to Coimbatore by 'Royal Brunei' Airlines: Rarely operated Airlines turns a routine service provider



Coimbatore: The Royal Brunei Airlines which was very rarely providing services to India previously has now become a routine service provider that to mainly providing services to Coimbatore has made aviation enthusiasts very proud and happy.

Previously Royal Brunei airlines operated their flight in India during 2004-2005 between Brunei - Kolkata -Dubai. During July 2020, for the first time Royal airlines operated it's flight to Coimbatore during July 3. A total of 139 Indian Nationals from Brunei travelled in this flight. Following that service the airlines started regularly providing services to Coimbatore.

In the past 6 months Royal Brunei Airlines has operated 7 flights to Coimbatore. 7th flight landed at Coimbatore Yesterday (Friday). So far nearly 1,000 passengers have travelled in all the seven services provided that airlines which is to be noted. The airlines which was providing services very rarely to India has now become a routine one providing routine services to Coimbatore has made aviation enthusiasts happy.

Kongu Global Forum (KGF), Director, D. Nanda Kumar said, "The efforts taken by Royal Brunei airlines in this challenging situation by providing frequent services to Coimbatore is highly appreciable. We expect Royal Brunei Air to consider providing regular services to Coimbatore. Both the passenger movements and aircraft movements continue to witness steady growth in the recent months at the airport has given a big hope that normalcy will soon be restored at Coimbatore airport. "
